Been here at least 20 times in the past year. All of the entrees and specials have all been either excellent or very good...portions are large, so it sometimes will feed me for another meal/snack. Pizza is solid for New Haven area.

Crowded noisy, but delicious food. Parking is somewhat limited, so make sure you get there with plenty of time.

Food was off the charts! I had the special broccoli rabe and sausage over cavatelli and others had a variety of pastas and the Mario pizza. We had a party of six and had to wait for everyone to arrive before being seated. Dining room felt tight and it was noisy but our server was funny, patient, pleasant and just overall great!

While there's a fair number of pizza options in New Haven county, not all of them are worthy. Whether you're looking for pizza or Italian, GGs is one of the top spots in my opinion. Pastas: often over shadowed by the pizza, their homemade pastas are a family favorite. Meatballs: love their meatball pizza and my kids love their side order of meatballs. Salads: most restaurants cut corners on their salads while GGs do not. We order the Belle salad every time we dine in or pickup. Pizza: the bar keeps getting higher but as of 2024 I believe GGs and Papas is the best pizza in Milford. I do frequent other spots but we consistently return to GGs. What I think I love most about GGs is the classic pizza parlor vibe that really doesn't exist anymore. We don't dine in often, but when we do the staff are attentive and personable. Side note for those following Portnoy, he definitely got their score wrong and did admit he had eaten about 12 slices that day or week. He seemed drunk from eating too much during his review.

This place is our date night go-to every time! Drinks are always on point, specials never disappoint and the food is absolutely delicious!

It's been 4 years since my last review and I still think GGs is the bomb. You'll always be happy with your meal here! I LOVE the pizza, the iceberg wedge salad and recently I tried their special called chicken Carmella which is an amazing chicken parm (thin and crispy) over homemade pasta. I was so happy with my dinner a few days ago I will continue to go back again and again!! I prefer sitting in the bar area for better vibes :)

We started with two appetizers, garlic bread, a salad, two main courses, and decided to share everything family style. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was good. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was wonderful. Maddie, our server was efficient, professional, and attentive. Our compliments to the chef.
